Rich and Regal Christmas Waterfall Card – Around the World Challenge

Waterfall card

A new challenge from the Around the World Stampin’ Up! Challenges – #28 is the inspiration behind this card.

My creation is a waterfall card using the following Stampin’ Up! cardstock colours :  Baked Brown Sugar, Cherry Cobbler and Mossy Meadow.

This proved to be more of a  challenge as I am outside of my comfort zone with using  green of any sort, which don’t  feature in my personal colour chart.

Rich, Regal and Earthy these colours would look rich no matter which combination of layers were used.

This  waterfall card is created using the Project Life stamp set Holiday Cheer featured in the Holiday Catalogue.

The Cherry Cobbler mat is embossed with the Lucky Stars  embossing folder (I hope it never retires). I stapled the waterfall pull with staples that I coloured with Stampin’ Up!  Cherry Cobbler Blendabilities,(these are  my number one colour medium right now. The hand held stapler and staples are featured in the Holiday catalogue.

I felt like it was missing something and tried all sorts of embellishments finally deciding on a Cherry Cobbler bow in the left top corner. Finally added rhinestones on the edges of the waterfall anchor.

If you would like to take part in the challenges Around the World Stampin’ Up! challenges   click on this link to either take part or check out not only what the design team have created but other people have linked their creations and entered this challenge. They have two challenges per month and I although I have good intentions I don’t always make the timeframe.
