I am taking part in in my first Holiday Catalogue Blog Hop. This Hop is to showcase projects demonstrators have created with products from the New Holiday Catalogue. It is a new experience for most of us but I am looking forward to being a part of this.
My card is made from the Get Your Santa On Photopolymer stamp set with the Santa stamped on Vellum Cardstock using Memento Ink and coloured with Stampin’ Up! cool as Blendabilities. Santas coat, pants and hat are coloured in Cherry Cobbler with his Boots and belt in Smokey Grey and buckle in Daffodil Delight.
Aha!!! So how did I get the white in the beard and the cuffs etc. We don’t have any white markers….. well the photo really doesn’t do this card any justice. If you run your finger over Santas beard etc you will notice not only is it bright white in colour but has a raised effect, To get this you use your scoring tool stylus and rub over the areas you want white on the wrong side of your image , wallah! Adds a nice vibrant white as well as giving it texture.
The base of the card is Cherry Cobbler and the white Mat is punched with the 23/4″ punch and run through the Texture Boutique between the NEW stars embossing folder, and the Joy is cut from the Wonderful Wreath Framelets. As you can see there are so many yummy products in the Holiday Catalogue.
