nanas minion 1It was my grandsons 5th Birthday on Sunday and he is Minion mad. I created a card in MDS of a minion holding some balloons. The minion was made out of punches, cropped  and colour filled – I placed an overlay stamp on top to give it a bit of texture . Megan was rushing around doing last minute things and  she said she was going to have to buy Corbyn a card – wow! What did she say …. As it was only an hour away from the party to start I said I would make one in MDS. I opened my minion card, created a duplicate page and ungrouped everything … Copied and pasted the  minion onto the new page and thought very quickly I would make 5 minions all different sizes to represent each year.

Green is his mums favourite colour for him from when he was very tiny so I gave the card a background of green galore. Placed the minions in a line and chose a happy birthday stamp.

Creating punch art digitally is very challenging and time consuming, but for me added to that is the therapeutic advantage.

I love the ease and versatility of MDS. Don’t be shy give it a try….

Minions-003

This is my finished card. The back of the card had the stampin up logo and the MDS logo printed on the back. If you would like to know how to create any of my digital pieces please email me, I have digital classes once a month on a Sunday afternoon. All you need is to BYOL(bring your own laptop)

Not only do we create digital cards we create scrapbooking pages and photobooks…. All you need is MDS and a bunch of photos.

New artwork for MDS is available every Tuesday from my online store. If you don’t have MDS you can trial it for free for thirty ,,, honestly nothing to lose, I urge you to try it. 🙂
